It was a hot July in 2023 and we purchased a home that is over 20 years old. AC broke just after getting keys and it was over 100 degrees! Matt and his team came days later, not weeks, and gave us a whole new system. They moved the AC unit in the back yard by the patio and placed it on the side of the house so there’s no noise in the backyard and replaced the entire heating unit. Everyone was very professional and in 1 day from start to finish we had a new system. Price and service was amazing. Highly recommend this team.

Wanted to give a shout out to A&M Heating and Air Conditioning! The HVAC system in my house needed to be replaced, so I contacted several HVAC companies, one being A&M Heating and Air Conditioning. Not only did A&M beat all other competitors estimates, they went above and beyond with their customer service, as well as the installation of a brand new Bosch 20 seer, heat pump system! I was told by one of the owners of the company that my gas bill would definitely be going down because of the heat pump in the system. Let me tell you! I’ve had the new HVAC system since July 2023. I was excited to see the savings that I would be getting by changing over from natural gas to a heat pump. For the last several months, starting with November my gas bill was cut in half. December and January have also been great months for savings! In December I saved approximately $200 compared to last year at the same time and this past January I saved about $250! Do not skimp on buying a cheaper system! This system will pay for itself in about 3 to 4 years! Oh, did I mention a $2500 rebate check from SMUD? Yes! There was a $2500 rebate from SMUD for installing the system!

The install process of the new HVAC system was seamless! The entire crew showed up around 7:30 AM and the system was completely installed and online by 3:30 that afternoon. The install was extremely clean, as well as the cleanup and disposal of the old HVAC systems, pieces and parts! I had to do nothing in regards to cleaning up after them, which I loved.

If you need a new HVAC system, make sure you call A&M Heating and Air Conditioning! Give them the opportunity to earn your business! Without a doubt, you will be extremely satisfied! Thank you so much, A&M Heating and Air Conditioning! Job well done!

Our A/C went out in the middle of summer. I initially called our home warranty company, who sent out their own HVAC company to investigate. This other company came back and told the home warranty company our condenser needed replacing, and one coil in the furnace. The unit/brand the home warranty company wanted to use for replacement was inferior quality, so I opted to take the credit from the home warranty company instead of replacement. The original HVAC company then told me that both the furnace & condenser needed replacing and quote a much higher amount than they quoted to the home warranty company (a different story than they told my home warranty company). I asked them about it, and they said they were “doing what’s best for the customer”. Not likely.

Here is the part where A&M came in to save the day….
I contacted them and they came out quickly to provide me a quote, and told me up front that both condenser and furnace needed replacing. (Not a surprise here…both were older units). They quoted an incredibly fair price for a great quality unit that I couldn’t say no to. They offered me a temporary window unit in the meantime, which I declined but was so grateful for the offer. What a great amenity! Their number one priority was my comfort! They arrived on time come installation day, and did a great job! They are quick to communicate, their team is stellar…everyone I met is always so kind, honest, and professional. They left my home clean, and explained the next steps of the process clearly.
As a realtor, I recommend A&M to all of my clients, who truly deserve the best of service, and definitely receive that with A&M. Stop wasting time researching other companies and call A&M today!

After an unpleasant experience with another company, I called A&M to ask for a quote to repair or replace my system. Our air conditioning had been seriously lacking in performance, and the system was very old. Adam, Matt and Traci were awesome. Adam gave me straight forward information and a connection to someone who could do a HELOC for us. We locked down a loan and we’re placed on their schedule for a few weeks out. In the meantime, they let us borrow a portable unit and even delivered and installed it for us. The crew showed up on time, on the day we were told and were able to get the house system completely replaced before it hit the 90s outside that day. Their team is really good and they kept the place neat, cleaning up the area around the condenser before they left. The unit is very efficient, and I am so thankful for Matt, Adam and Traci’s attention to detail. Their reliability is unmatched to any heating and air company I have ever worked with. Highly recommend.

Had an AC service and repair today. Great experience! The technician showed up with a mask on, as well as booties to keep my new carpet clean and was very friendly. He reviewed my concern promptly and, because my unit is on the roof, took pictures to show me what he was seeing and to demonstrate what needed to be repaired, then provided a reasonable quote on-the-spot to get the work done. At the end of the appointment, he walked me through the various measurements he did in order to determine the health of my system and explained where there were potential issues. He did not pressure me to perform any additional work but explained the potential impacts of some things he found. I will definitely be using A&M again for future services and, if this kind of service is repeated, will be using them to replace my unit when the time comes. Thanks A&M!

THANK YOU, ADAM & STEVE! Two-story home, both units needed to be replaced. We called A&M because our 2nd floor A/C stopped working. It was like an oven! So the first thing they were sure to do was the 2nd floor so that the first night we had cool air! We appreciate the thoughtful care in what they do and for the comfort of the family. Prior to the appointed date, Adam offered to temporarily fix the A/C that would cool the 2nd floor until the units were replaced. They were diligent, courteous… and surprisingly quiet! Of course, we could hear some of the work being done, but you wouldn’t think there were a couple of A/C units being removed and replaced! They arrived EXACTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD and were careful to keep things tidy. The units look great and so updated! Friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough! Please call A&M when you need this service. You won’t be disappointed!

We’ve had a slow water leak growing worse by the year and finally realized it might be coming from our ac units. Matt came out and saw the problem right away. Our units had been installed improperly by another company allowing rain water into our attic and home. Between how professionally and efficient Tracy runs the office and the teams knowledge and understanding of hvac my experience could not have been better. I only wish I had called them sooner.

My wife and i truly appreciated how prompt and courteous the entire crew from A&M treated us. From the moment we requested a quote for install. We had 5 other quotes, including one company that was “not interested” in having to work on anything but a cookie cutter install. Matt provided a no BS assessment, and what we needed. He offered two options to us, and the pricing was the best overall value. Tracy in the office was very accommodating with all my questions, and requests.
We happily are now their “ship in a bottle” install story, should you ever ask. We even heard very good words about the quality of work done by A&M from the guys who did our HERS testing.

I called A&M on a Wednesday and the office manger Traci called me back as soon as they opened the next morning. I was in meetings in and out all day and Traci was diligent in trying to reach me. We finally made contact and there were there the next day and resolved my A/C problem within an hour . The technician Michael was very professional and was not both free by my many questions. My experience was very good and my A/C has been working good all weekend. I plan on doing their very affordable maintenance program in October! If your looking for a local A/C repair/replace I would recommend you give them a try… Very professional and fast to respond. Well done A/M.

My Rheem tankless water heater suddenly stopped working. I found A&M online and called for help. Matt immediately returned my call and he and Adam were out that afternoon at exactly the time he promised! Unfortunately, the circuit board had gone bad BUT Matt called Rheem for assistance and they overnighted a replacement FREE of charge even though my unit was no longer under warranty!!! I received the circuit board 2 days later, called Matt and he and Adam were out within 2 hours to install it. He and Adam were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. And A&M’s charges were very fair and reasonable. I will always call A&M to service my tankless water heater from now on!!! Thanks guys!!!

Adam did a fantastic job and saved me more than $1700. A&M was recommended by a co-worker. I called in the morning and was able to make a same-day appointment with Adam. Had 2 problems: 1) water heater pilot kept going out and 2) A/C system leak and total loss of coolant. 1) Water heater: Two days before, another company sent a tech who didn’t event open up the unit and recommended a >$500 replacement of the controller unit. Adam opened up the unit, cleaned the pilot light area and charged a small fee for the cleaning. 2) A/C System: Most companies don’t do estimates by phone. Adam provide a quote by phone based on my description of the work needed and the cost estimate was 1/3 of another company who is well advertised. (note: one leak was welded closed 2 days before but additional work was recommended) In the end, Adam found no leak and the work recommended by the other company was not needed The price of the coolant was all I was charged. Recently I heard of A&M through several friends. My experiences with A/C inspectors was somewhat negative, so I told them I would have to know what their experiences were. As it happens, I was walking through the townhome complex, and I noticed their truck, and told them I might want an inspection if they had the time. Meanwhile, my neighbor and I were talking, and the quotes I heard were in line, and she was billed far less than she expected for the failed A/C unit they fixed in a reasonable time frame.

It is important to mention an inspection I got for $39 thru a promotion in Home Depot by Beutler. The paperwork is in front of me as I write. The inspection was about 30 minutes, the representative was polite, and explained the problems with my fifteen year old unit with an itemized list of $3,606.00. He had photos of puddles of oil, dirt and water. He told me “I can’t guarantee your A/C will last six months even with the repairs”, and promoted an $8,000 unit sold by Beutler.He asked me if he could do it for $500.00 less, would I ? Suspicious?

The dirty drain was cleaned by A & M for $55.00 vs.the $95.00 by the other guy. There were no photos of leaks and puddles. The estimate of the life of the unit was another five years with bi-annual inspections.The unit was working fine. The bill was $144.00, not attempted fraud by the other representative for thousands of dollars. We need more people like Adam and Matt, just two guys who want to make an honest living, not using fear and deceptive tactics. They are good at what they do, and like it. Whatever the bill is, you can have confidence they are not stealing your$ with deceptive tactics.

This place is fantastic. Once I called they were out within two days of me calling, and they were extremely courteous and professional. Both the guys that showed up were very friendly, worked quickly, and explained every detail of what was wrong with our air conditioning. They were able to fix it for a reasonable price I felt and overall the experience was easy and wonderful, which you really can’t find nowadays. It is months later and our air conditioning is still working perfectly thanks to them! Will only use this company from here on out.

I would recommend this company to friends/family. Called and left a message yesterday morning (07/15/14) and received a call back shortly from Adam. Scheduled a same day maintenance/clean between 12-3pm. Received a call back/message around 3:30pm from Matt stating work has been done. Very reliable and professional. I’d call them again!

Please, please save yourself the time and money and call Adam and Matt first. They are honest, kind, friendly, clean, HONEST, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I had two other HVAC companies (that had great Yelp reviews) come to our house to check our ducting system. The first company wanted to charge $5,000 to replace our ducting. The second company said it would be $3,500. Adam and Matt crawled under our house, took pictures and explained that we did NOT need to change the ducting, it was perfectly fine. They did not charge me to come out for the service call and refused to take any money for their time. It’s so hard to find honest, trustworthy, knowledgeable services now. These guys are the real deal. They service Roseville, Loomis, Granite Bay, etc. Thanks Adam and Matt. You guys rock!
